How long will it take to setup my care plan?
Once you sign up and provide login credentials, we’ll have your plan set up within 1-2 business days. Everything from speed improvements to security will be addressed by our team during on-boarding.
Does monthly time roll over?
Our care plans are designed to be monthly plans and as such we reserve your place in our queue and resources each month, therefore it does not rollover for our Green ($99) and Silver ($149) plans. You can take comfort in the fact that what you will request within that 30/120 minutes of time (depending on your plan) will be addressed by our team with immediate attention.
With our Gold Care Plan ($199) contracts not only does the time rollover and stack upto 12 months, it also has a built in mechanism that every 24-36 months our Gold contract holders get a brand new website upgrade, designed and developed from the ground up – What this means is that you never have to buy a website again which is perfect for small to medium sized businesses.
Do you manage WooCommerce websites?
What happens if my website goes down, is hacked, breaks, etc?
Our website care plans are preventative care, so we do our best to prevent anything from happening. However in the event that your website has a major issue, we will be there by it’s side communicating with the web hosting company on your behalf. We do not make guarantees that your website will not be hacked, but we will do everything within our power to prevent it, as well as assist in the restoration and cleanup of the website with one of our backups.
Does it matter what hosting provider i’m using?
How do strategy coaching calls work?
Email is our preferred form of communication and provides the quickest response. However, we know brainstorming and strategy works best on the phone or on a video call. These consulting calls are reserved for our Platinum care clients. These calls help websites achieve their goals and reach a broader audience. Many times clients use this time for online screen-share small updates or training.
How does the SEO package work?
With our SEO package we work every month on getting your website ranked higher in Google. Initially we help identify the keywords to target and make recommendations on how to optimize your website for SEO. You’ll probably need to build a few additional pages at the onset that target some of the keywords. Then we do white-hat link building campaigns, directory submissions and other SEO work to help get your site ranked. Each month we’ll ask you to create an additional blog entry or page targeting certain keywords.
Every month we work on getting your website ranked higher in Google and monthly we provide:
- Website traffic report
- Keyword rankings report
- Monthly accomplishment report
The cost for ranking 10 keywords is $497/month. The cost for ranking 10 keywords starts from $575/month. We think you’ll be so satisfied with our SEO work that the results will speak for themselves.
Do I have to create content for the social media package every month?
What if I need more support time/hours?
If you have an enhancement or task that requires more than your dedicated monthly time, we will submit a quote for you to approve separately from your plan. We will evaluate requests that exceed your time on a case by case basis, and with approval, work past the time and bill for time exceeded at our current support rate of $125/hour.
Can I really cancel any time?
Absolutely. We are laser focused on you and your website, so we would be sad to see you go but we know that financial needs weight on many decisions and don’t want lock anyone in. Request a cancellation via email and we will let you know what licenses you will need to purchase and will immediately stop the next payment.
My website wasn’t built by Gherkin Media, can I still be on a website care plan?
Although these plans are designed for sites that were built by us, we welcome clients who are looking for a long term partner with a professional and dedicated webmaster.
We first like to do a Website Evaluation & Tune-up to become familiar with the website, how it was built and to fix issues that we find. With the evaluation we will perform all the “Website Updates and Monitoring” tasks and make a full backup. Most importantly we will make list of issues to fix and suggestions for improvement needed in order to proceed with the website on a monthly care plan. Based on your type of website, this Website Evaluation is a fixed 4-hour fee.
I have more than one website. Do you offer a discount for multiple websites?
If you have more than one website and you are on the Gold Care Plan or higher, you can add an additional website to your Website Care Plan for $75/month and share your plan’s support time between your sites. This option is not available on Silver or Legacy care plans.
